More pics from the lake...

Now a picture with EVERYONE after the excitement!!! And remember, I did say we are at the lake so most of us look a little wind blown and water logged!

An exciting visit to the lake!

So, here's the whole family (Leslie's mom's side) gathered together for a picture at the lake on July 23rd... little did we expect that just seconds after this picture was taken Anna's boyfriend Joey would propose! (He was actually the one taking this picture and when he put the camera down, he came over and got on his knee holding a BIG sparkling diamond!!!)

Good one, Joey!!! Here's the newly engaged couple... Joey and Anna (with a tear of joy in her eye!!!)

Joey, Anna, John, Joyce, and Vann. Vann and Joyce knew it was coming sometime soon, but couldn't have been more surprised and happy for their "little girl"!!!

The very happy couple... you couldn't wipe the smiles off of either of their faces! Congratulations!!!!

Just A Rockin!!!

I think we need to get Blake a rocking chair... he loved this one at Cracker Barrel!

It's great when Granna and Granddaddy come to visit

Granna came down and stayed the night with us July 15th... And she made sure Blake ate good while she was here!

Then Granddaddy came and stayed the following Monday (7/21/08)... Blake played so hard with Granddaddy that he just laid his head down and went right to sleep standing up!

Granddaddy also made sure Blake ate good too!

Blake was getting sleepy and didn't want his Uncle B to go work without him, so he got to ride in his work belt!

Blake in his BIG boy jammies!

We just thought he looked so cute tonight when we put on big boy jammies for the first time... i.e. not ones that snap up and have footies..

He didn't really seem to notice the pajamas, but Daddy was funny!!!

Blake went to his first drive-in movie on Sunday (7/6/08) with his cousins Anna and Ian (Mommy, Daddy, Uncle B and Aunt Michelle were also there too!) He was alseep before the movie even got started though, oh well...

Blake's 8 Months Old

It's getting harder to get him to sit still, so these are the best I could get on his 8 Months, July, 2, 2008.

Blake at 8 Months weighs right at 20 lbs. and is just a little bit over 28 inches tall! He's still working on crawling... he's got an army crawl going now. And so far, 2 teeth on the bottom and one working its way down on the top!
