It's pool time again!!!

It was a nice warm day to go to the pool, but the water was still a little cool and took some time to get use to!

This is the way Blake really enjoyed the pool... when he could float on his own and kick in the water!

I imagine we will be spending a lot more time here over the summer!!!

Our trip to Washington DC

We had a fun trip to Washinton DC... and a great time staying with John, Robyn, and Kyla! (Robyn is Justin's first cousin) Blake and I met Justin in DC after he spent a few days riding his bicycle there from Virginia Beach (250 miles!). He was riding in the annual Police Unity Tour ride that honors fallen officers who have died in the line of duty. There were tons of pictures that we took during our trip, but these are just a few of the highlights! And for some reason this program cut off some of the picture when I added the captions so sorry about missing heads in a few of them!!!

While we were at Justin's cousins house, Blake got to ride a motorized scooter... He jumped right on and held on... He has no fear!

Daddy had fun too!

Visiting with friends

On our way to meet Justin in DC we stopped to stay the night with Christa, Kevin, and the kids... Blake, Jacob, and Gretchen decided it would be fun to have a bath together!

And on our way home from DC we stayed the night with Lance, Casey and Ethan - Even though we don't get to see them very often, Blake and Ethan are still big buddies!

The boys took a little wagon ride before going to the park to play and eat lunch... Don't look so serious, this is suppose to be fun!

Mother's Day 2009

I celebrated a wonderful Mother's Day with my dad and family this year... Justin was out of town on a 250 mile bicycle ride from Virginia Beach to Washington, DC... Here we all are in Townsend after a great brunch.

What a fun time we had washing the car yesterday! Blake was completely soaked from head to toe, but loved every minute of it!

I asked Blake to smile big and show me his teeth!!!

Fun at the park!

Justin and I took Blake down to one of the Riverfront Parks the other day and we all had a blast! Blake loved playing on all the toys and slides, grabbing handful after handful of rocks, running in the fields, and walking down to the water! Lovin' this warm weather!!!
